I'll provide a calm, reassuring presence in your corner
Facing the Family Court can feel overwhelming, but you do not have to walk through it by yourself. Based in South Yorkshire, I offer compassionate, practical support to guide you through every stage of representing yourself, ensuring your voice is heard and your children's best interests remain at the centre.

Understanding modern families with empathy
I have always been deeply interested in people and in offering genuine support when life becomes complicated. As a parent of two children, I understand first hand the delicate emotional dynamics and complexities of modern family life. When disputes arise over child arrangements or contact, you need someone who listens without judgment, takes time to understand what makes you tick, and genuinely cares about the outcome for your children and your family.
This is what I can do for you. There will be absolutely no judgement on your circumstances.

A decade of practical court experience
With an academic foundation in Criminology and Psychology, alongside almost a decade spent working directly within the Family Court, I offer practical insight into how court procedures work, what you will need, help to guide you before court and be with you in court. I help demystify court procedures, organise evidence, and guide you through paperwork so you always know who everyone is in the room, what their role is and what to expect next.

Take a breath and regain your clarity
My aim as your McKenzie friend is to help you to sit back, breathe, and reflect with the confidence of knowing what you are facing and how to face what lies ahead. Walking into court does not have to mean feeling isolated or intimidated. By providing guidance before and quiet guidance during hearings, I help reduce your anxiety so you can present your perspective calmly, clearly, and effectively when it matters most.
"Walking into the Family Court was the most daunting thing I had ever faced, but having calm, compassionate support by my side made all the difference. I felt truly listened to and guided every step of the way."
